Beer Barons and Brewing History 

Our most popular annual tour, Beer Barons, celebrates St. Louis's rich brewing history and the lives of the beer industry leaders laid to rest here. This event often includes local craft beer tastings and historical interpretation. 

Voices at Bellefontaine 

A dramatic and immersive experience where actors bring the stories of resting souls to life. This powerful event offers a unique, first-person perspective on history, capturing the spirit and legacy of those who shaped our city.

Sips, Souls, and Strolls 

A casual, seasonally themed evening event where guests can enjoy light refreshments while taking a guided or self-guided stroll through a beautifully illuminated section of the grounds to experience the peaceful beauty of the landscape after hours.

Spring and Fall Races 

Whether a competitive 5k or 10k, or a family fun run, our races offer a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Arboretum trails and historic landscapes while supporting BCA's preservation efforts.

Consolations of Memory 

In collaboration with local partners, the Mourning Society presents a reflective event focused on historical mourning practices and grief architecture, featuring insights from Victorian-era specialists.

In conjunction with the Missouri Historical Society, this program explores the unique and sometimes surprising ways St. Louisans celebrated the holiday season in centuries past, often including cemetery and architectural connections.
