While Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is a private entity dedicated to serving our families, its preservation as a National Historic Landmark, a botanical garden, and a Level III Arboretum is supported by the Friends of Bellefontaine.

𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀?
The Friends of Bellefontaine Cemetery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to provide primary funding for the educational and horticultural side of our operations. Through their efforts, we are able to offer:
Public Tours: History and horticulture walks, trolley tours, and private group experiences.
Educational Programming: Lectures, workshops, and community events that bring St. Louis history to life.
Conservation: Specialized care for our historic monuments and our 314-acre botanical collection.
