Chris Carl joined Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in leadership, operations, and public service. His background includes active duty in the U.S. Air Force specializing in emergency management, serving as a Superintendent for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers construction projects, and working as a Contract Administrator for U.S. Forest Service’s vegetation and timber management initiatives.

At Bellefontaine, Chris oversees all special projects and supervises horticulture and grounds operations, ensuring the cemetery remains a beautiful and welcoming place for visitors. He finds deep meaning in supporting families during their times of need and is dedicated to maintaining the serene environment that defines Bellefontaine.
